Step 1: Pick a Juicer

The first step involves picking the right juicer for your needs. Juicers range price-wise and add-on wise. Two varieties, the centrifugal juicer and the masticating juicer, are located below.

Centrifugal: High speed spinning motion forces the juice away from the pulp.

If you have limited funds, you may want to choose a centrifugal juicer. It’s fast and effective, although you may find that the leftover pulp is still somewhat wet.

Masticating juicers cost more than centrifugal juicers, but they tend to wring out every last drop of juice from the veggies, herbs and fruits that you place inside them.

Green Juice Recipe for Beginners

For your initial juice creation, try this delicious drink:

Ingredients:

 1. Leafy Green: 2 Cups Spinach
 2. Juice Filler: 1 Cucumber
 3. Sweetener: 1 Apple
 4. Flavor Booster: ½ Lemon

Directions: Put ingredients through juicer. Serve in a glass with ice.
